Smoked Meat Recipe | How to Cook Smoked Meat

Ingredients

Mutton 1 kg| Bakre ka gosht 1kilo
Onions ½ kg| piyaz 1/2killo
Mint leaves (finely cut) 1 bunch| khobsorti se kate huwe podene ke pate 1gathi
Thick yogurt (whisked) ½ kg| phainta huwa garha dahi 1/2killo
Ginger (finely cut) 1 inch piece| nafasat sy kata hua adrak 1inch ka tukra
Garlic (finely cut) 4 cloves| lehsan or 4long
Green chillies (finely cut 4) | hari mirch achi trah kati huwi 4
Red chilli powder 1 tsp| surkh mirch powder 1khane ka chamach
Coriander powder 1 tsp| dhaniya powder 1khane ka chamach
Salt to taste
Oil as required

How to Cook Smoked Meat

Cut half the onions finely and the remaining into rounds.
Mix onion rings, mint and green chillies in a bowl.
Put meat, red chillies, salt, coriander, finely cut onions, garlic, ginger and little water in a pot.
Cook till meat turns tender and water dries.
Add oil and fry well.
When oil surfaces, layer with yogurt, onions and mint,
Heat a piece of coal. Place a chapatti in the centre of the pot.
Place hot coal on top of chapatti and pour few drops oil on it.
Cover pot with lid.
Keep pot on dum for 5 minutes.
Remove coal and serve smoked meat hot.
